Conclusion


Samizdat was both unofficial and non-traditional materials and the process by which they were circulated. Today, the Internet is both unofficial and non-traditional materials and the process by which they are circulated. While there are many similarities between samizdat and the Internet, there are also some striking differences. But perhaps most important of all is that they both have at their base the same underlying belief in freedom of expression and the right to share information.
